Dear P.A. Walsh Families and Community,

Hello, Walsh Wolves! What a joy it is for me to come each day to be the principal of this school. We have much to be proud of at Walsh STEAM Academy. We have a dedicated and talented staff that love to be here working with students. Plus, our students go above and beyond in their work. The work is challenging and fun. Students are presented with problems and have to come up with solutions. In December, for example our students saw a small sleigh that couldn’t lift off and the students worked together to get that sleigh fixed. They did it!

Our students are a kind group of individuals who know how to be respectful, responsible and safe. They work hard to do their best job on all things that they undertake. Not only are they learning the STEAM way, but they also welcome newcomers and work together on projects and have fun at recess together. We are known for having top notch facilities and have tablets or computers for each student and have a newly painted playground.

We talk about doing things “The Walsh Way” here on campus. That means we know how take care of ourselves so that we are doing the right things. Whether it is walking in a safe manner, turning in homework, or advancing in reading, we do it proudly, The Walsh Way.
